We can give you the means to create your own website, or simply the knowledge and confidence to carry out your own maintenance and updates.

Introductory Course
Our very successful one day course is designed for individuals or companies with a website who would like to update it themselves, or for those who would like to create their own internet presence.

Aims & Learning Objectives
The aim of the day is to de-mystify website building. By the end of the course the candidate will be able to create a website with a good layout involving text and images and will be able to carry out website promotion, uploading their website and able to update it.

After Training Support
Once you have completed the days training we don't just leave you to it, we are only ever an email or phone call away providing support if you ever run into difficulties at a later date.

Course Content
Each training day is customised to your requirements – which is one of the reasons that it is so highly effective. You may for example currently have a website domain registered so your course would not involve domain & hosting explanation, but we would work on the completion of your project with you on the day.

• Adobe Dreamweaver, Microsoft FrontPage & Microsoft Expression Web (your choice)
  A comprehensive guide to using website design software
• Page Layout & Design
  How should web pages be arranged? What are the design options? Also how to create your own time saving website templates
• Web Photography and use of Images
  What are JPEG and GIF files? How are photos and images prepared for a website? How are they uploaded?
• Marketing Design
  How can my website achieve high ranking on the search engine?
• Website Promotion
  How can my website be promoted both on-line and off-line?
• Up-loading a Website using FTP
  What is FTP software and how is it used?
